Transforming into the monster allows you to grapple to elevated platforms and shock power boxes to expose these essential quest items.

For instance, you will need to shock the crane generator in the Junction to drop the golden fountain pen. In the Footlight District, navigating elevated ledges in Beast Mode reveals the hairpiece needed for another ritual station. Securing all four artifacts as early as possible sets a smooth foundation for the remaining preparation steps.

Performing the Four Character Rituals

Once an item is retrieved, it must be taken to its dedicated ritual room located within that specific district. Interacting with the ritual table initiates a timed defense event where aggressive Keepers spawn into the room. Staying mobile and conserving ammunition during these rituals is crucial for keeping your team alive.

Completing a ritual purifies the item and produces a Gateworm, which automatically drops onto the pedestal for collection. You must collect all four Gateworms after completing the rituals in Nero's Lair, the Black Lace Burlesque, the Ruby Rabbit, and the Boxing Gym. Managing your points effectively between rounds ensures you can afford doors while completing these rituals quickly.

Opening the Underground Rift Chamber

With all four Gateworms in hand, your next destination is the underground Rift area accessed through portal doors in each main district. Players must use Beast Mode to smash the glowing blue doors located in the alleys to open these persistent transport portals. Entering a portal teleports your team down into the subterranean subway system.

Inside the underground chamber, locate the massive wall adorned with glowing symbols to reveal the hidden Pack-A-Punch room. Approaching the wall causes it to crumble, exposing the ancient ritual altar where the final step takes place. Preparing your gear before stepping through the wall ensures your team is ready for the final encounter.

Placing the Gateworms to Unlock the Pack-A-Punch
